DA Stamp - Character 001

My titles are kind of made of fail, but that's okay.


Basically, if you're going to give your character a lot of spiffy powers and/or make them important ( ex: royalty ), the way they handle and/or use it may affect the way other players and/or other characters will think of the character.

If you make your character really powerful, but he/she doesn't handle situations well, he/she may appear to be not very intelligent or perhaps even heartless. If you don't mind this, then that's fine. I'm just bringing it up because some people may be surprised as to why their character doesn't seem to be liked very much. If you're going to make your character a king or queen and they don't handle situations very well, they may appear irresponsible and some of the other characters may not like them very much.

Also, depending upon the character, if the character is older, they will probably be reasonably wise due to having a lot of experiences. As I said, it depends on the character though. Some of them handle things differently and some of them are more mature than others.

I'm not trying to say you can't do certain things with your characters. I'm just saying that anything you chose to give your character can affect the situation and if your character doesn't handle the situation very well, they may come off differently than you want them to.

Just things to keep in mind.


There's a character in a movie that I can't stand because she is supposed to be THOUSANDS of years old, but she handles the situation really poorly and comes off as extremely stupid to me. Oy.
