Sometimes when I defend animals or make an argument against something that I think is cruel or unnecessary, it is assumed that I don't care about people at all. That I only want animals to be happy and healthy and that I want people to suffer. That is not the case. I care about both.

I actually understand why that is assumed sometimes, as there are a few extremists out there ( as with most groups/organizations/stances ) who just care about the animals' well being and are willing to harm people to accomplish their goals. I just wish that I wasn't lumped in with them. It's frustrating.

This is a stamp to say that you care about people as well as animals. So just because you're standing up for one side, it doesn't mean you don't care about the other.
