DA Stamp - Anti-War 01

Some people argue that sometimes war is the only way to solve problems. Not only do I disagree with that ( there maybe, and I mean maybe, an exception, but I doubt it ), I believe war often causes more problems than it solves.

Such As : A struggling economy, death of innocent people, aggressive behavior, mental health issues, tension between countries and other groups of people, killing of family members, destruction of property, encouraging violence as a perfectly acceptable way to solve problems, bodily injuries, damaging the environment, and stretching out resources.

It's a temporary solution that I feel doesn't have a long lasting effect. Think about it. How many wars have been fought over the last thousand years? Which war is supposed to be the "one war to end all wars"? I doubt there is such a thing, because war is caused by various factors that need to be dealt with directly, not simply blown to bits. You piss people off that way... And pissing people off is not going to solve anything.

Yes, I am aware of the fact that the world is not all sunshine and rainbows and that peace is hard to achieve, but that doesn't mean it's not possible. If we would have a better understanding of the situation and try to work it out in a civilized way, I think the outcome would be better overall... It may take longer, but I really do think it's the better option.

I might have to rewrite some of that, perhaps even add a bit more to it, to try to be a bit more clear and/or fix any grammatical issues, but hopefully it's clear enough that you understand what I am trying to say, at least.
